Master of Arts in Writing

Rowan’s well-established Master of Arts in Writing is housed in the Department of Writing Arts and provides students with a multidisciplinary approach to Writing. In addition to taking four core classes required of all MA students, graduate students develop their individual interests in either composition studies/new media or creative writing/journalism through four-course tracks. In workshop and seminar style classes, students work closely with knowledgeable faculty and talented students. As a culminating experience, students complete a thesis project during Seminar I and II.
