PROFILE:
Education - Born in the Midwest; Snare drum lessons with Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra percussionist; studied informally with J.C. Heard, John Von Ohlen, Ed Shaughnessy, and Alan Dawson. Began playing professionally in 1970 through a stylistic variety of original-material bands; moved to the East Coast in 1977.
