Rowan Opera Company

La Clemenza di Tito

Professor Marian Stieber, Director
Jon Garrison, Assistant Director

This ensemble performs a fully staged opera each spring accompanied by our Rowan Opera Orchestra. The fall semester offers a evening of staged opera scenes featuring members of the ensemble. Any student can participate in the opera chorus without audition, however some prior choral experience is recommended. The undergraduate students who wish to continue performing on the stage can gain valuable experience singing voice appropriate roles. Graduate students are featured in solo roles to advance their preparation for the solo vocal career. Solo roles are cast by audition at the beginning of each semester. Opera has a long tradition at Rowan and the quality of the productions has received numerous accolades.
