The Master of Music program with emphasis in Choral Conducting provides for intensive development of performance skills, broad knowledge of choral literature, and choral pedagogy.

Requirements for auditions:

Applicants should provide the following to the Director of Choral Activities:

  • Current Resume/CV
  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • Statement of Professional Goals
  • DVD/URL to Online Video (20-30 minutes with rehearsal and performance footage - conductor's view)

A formal invitation to conduct the Rowan Concert choir in rehearsal will follow the screening process.

It is strongly recommended that students spend at least one year of residency in the choral area at Rowan University.  The remaining semesters can be done part-time.
