Katherine Baer


Katharine Baer, a central New York native, holds both a bachelor’s degree in music and an M.S.Ed in Music Education from Hofstra University in New York. As an undergraduate student, Katharine was trained in classical voice by Avalee Beckmann, and studied vocal jazz with Holli Ross. During her graduate career, she focused her studies on choral conducting and was a conducting student of Dr. David Fryling. She currently sings professionally as a soloist and section leader in the choir at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church of Lambertville. Katharine also teaches in the Glassboro School District as a choir director and string lesson teacher and spends her summers at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan as the manager of the high school choirs.
