Katharine Baer, a central New York native, holds an M.S.Ed in Music Education and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Hofstra University. As an undergraduate student Katharine was trained in classical voice by Avalee Beckmann and studied vocal jazz with Holli Ross. During her graduate career, she focused her studies on choral conducting and was a conducting student of Dr. David Fryling. In the past, Katharine has spent her summers as the Ensemble Manager for high school choirs at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. She sings professionally as a soloist and section leader of the choir at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights. Katharine is currently the Director of Choirs and string lesson teacher at Glassboro Intermediate School and works as an administrator for Music in the Somerset Hills.
