Tamara Benitez


Tamara Benitez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her piano studies with Manuel Massone at the Alberto Ginastera Conservatory. In 2005 she was accepted into the National University of Buenos Aires. Since 2010, she has been a student of Professor Veda Zuponcic, having been awarded a full scholarship at Rowan University. She has received First Prizes in XIV Young Artists Piano Competition (Argentina),International Piano Competition “Teachers del Norte Pianists Del Sur”(Argentina), and Soloist Competition at Rowan University . Honorable Mentions in Piano Competition “MusicaViva” and NJMTA Young Artists Piano Competition 2010-11; MTNA Piano Competition.Finalist in IX International Piano Competition “Pau Casals”. Miss Benitez has performed as a soloist with National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina and Rowan University Orchestra. She is currently the accompanist for the Women Chorus and Vocal Studio at Rowan University; and The Great South Jersey Chorus. Tamara Benitez is very active with accompanying recitals and chamber music recitals with a variety of musicians.
