- Part-Time String Teacher (specialty in violin & viola) comfortable with beginner students;weekday and/or Saturday)
- Part-Time Piano Teacher (specialty with beginner & intermediate students)
POSITION: Part-time instructors to teach students of all ages and levels (focus
on beginner students) at the Rowan Prep -- Rowan University's community music
school division in the College of Performing Arts, Glassboro, NJ
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or equivalent
experience and training preferred. Extensive teaching experience required.
DUTIES: Teach private lessons; -- Opportunities to perform in faculty recitals.
START: Summer, 2013

LOCATION: Rowan Prep shares space with the College of Performing Arts at
Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. Rowan Prep opened its musical doors
September, 2010, and is serving over 215+ families in Glassboro and the
surrounding communities with private lessons in all instruments including voice,
Suzuki/traditional strings, percussion, beginner group lessons for young
children and adults, ensembles and chamber experiences. Faculty is comprised of
Rowan University's renowned music faculty, and Prep faculty -- all highly
skilled and dedicated individuals. We embrace the novice as well as the serious
student aspiring toward a career in music.
