Rowan Prep Faculty Profile
Marian Stieber, soprano, is one of the most highly regarded performers of the Philadelphia area. She has distinguished herself in opera, on the concert stage, and in recital with numerous roles in La Boheme, Faust, and The Barber of Seville. She has appeared as guest soloist with many ensembles in a variety of symphonic and oratorio repertoire. As a member of the voice faculty of the Rowan University Music Department she has performed on the Faculty Spotlight Series and has been guest soloist with the Rowan Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and Contemporary Music Ensemble. As director of the Rowan Opera Company, she has produced many successful productions including The Magic Flute, The Pirates of Penzance, and Dido and Aeneas. She is a graduate of Temple University and has also served on the faculty of West Chester University and Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music.
