Elizabeth Cary


When she's not trying out a new hummus recipe or searching for the perfect cup of coffee, Elizabeth is probably playing violin. Elizabeth received the "Premier Talent Award" Scholarship to study at Ithaca College and has a Bachelors Degree in Violin Performance. Her teachers include Susan Waterbury, Linda Case, Ellen Rathjen, and Diane Monroe, and John Blake. She has played with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra and Southern Finger Lakes Orchestra. Elizabeth has toured internationally with members of "Deep Purple" and the "Mothers of Invention" as a backing vocalist and violinist. She is a bold and energetic performer whose experience spans many genres including Classical, Celtic, Jazz, and Rock. Elizabeth has also completed Suzuki Teacher Training at the Ithaca Suzuki Institute with Carrie Reuning-Hummel.
