The Inaugural ROWAN CLARINET DAY

 

Saturday, December 1
11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wilson Hall @ Rowan University

 

This day-long event includes concerts, clinics and master classes
designed for professionals, amateurs, students, music educators
and clarinet enthusiasts of all ages and stages.

 

Rowan Clarinet Day 2012 is hosted by:
Rowan clarinet faculty members Rie Suzuki and Joshua Kovach.

 

Featured artists and guests include:
- Daniel Gilbert, Associate Professor at University of Michigan
and a former member of The Cleveland Orchestra
- pianist Donna Lee, Associate Professor at Kent State University
- David Gould, Vandoren Artistic Advisor and Product Specialist
- Mark Jacobi, Clarinet Repair Technician
- The Rowan Clarinet Quartet
(Jessica Smith, Michael Gruender, Patrick Dolan, Joseph Allen)

 

There also will be a clarinet exhibit and try-outs by
Buffet Crampon, Vandoren and Hammer Woodwinds.

 

Admission is free and open to the public.
