Master of Engineering Management (MEM) The College of Professional & Continuing Education (CPCE) at Rowan University offers the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program. The program combines offerings from Rowan’s College of Engineering and College of Business. It will prepare graduate students for management positions in the engineering profession. Classes are accelerated and online offering the fastest and most convenient route to your master’s degree. The goal of Engineering Management at Rowan University is to effectively prepare graduate students for management positions in the engineering profession by providing them with the necessary skill sets, knowledge, and training to succeed as engineering managers. The Master of Engineering Management (MEM) Program is open to students with bachelor’s degrees in engineering, engineering technology, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, or computer science, or a bachelor’s degree in education with appropriate coursework in science and mathematics. Applicants with other bachelor’s degrees will be considered for admission to the MEM Program on a case-by-case basis. Admissions requirements
Application deadline Due to the complicated nature of the admissions evaluation process, (including the review of foundation courses) students are strongly encouraged to apply at least one full month before their desired entry point. However, applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis up until 14 business days prior to the start of the next module. Applications must be complete by this deadline in order to receive a decision before the module begins. (If a decision has not yet been reached, students may begin the course as a non-matriculated student while the process completes.) Each student will be advised by the Coordinator of Engineering Management who will approve the student’s program of study, subject to the guidelines of the University and associated Colleges. With the assistance of the Coordinator of Engineering Management, students will choose courses leading to one of two specializations in Engineering Management.
