Sheltered English Instruction

Two cohorts of Elementary School teachers and one group of Secondary teachers will begin the Sheltered English Instruction series of workshops in late September/early October. In order to participate, a commitment must be made to attend all five training sessions. Click on the link above for more information.

Rowan Literacy Consortium

The Rowan Literacy Consortium is a year-long professional development project consisting of between 20 and 25 teams working together to improve the writing curriculum in their building/district. The consortium is facilitated by Dr. Marjorie Madden and Dr. Valerie Lee from the College of Education's Reading Department and Dr. Deb Martin from the Writing Arts Department in the College of Communication.
