Background:  As the Coordinator of Degree Completion, Amanda DeValerio facilitates successful degree completion programs in partnership with community colleges, including creating plans of study for selected degree programs.  Her responsibilities also include working with various colleges and departments to ensure accuracy and quality of extension programs; serving as liaison for community college partners; assisting in scheduling and other related logistics; and recruiting and advising students. 

Prior to joining CPCE, Amanda worked for three years with the Corporate College division and with Academic Operations for Peirce College.  She also possesses more than three years of experience working in health care communications for Vox Medica.  Amanda holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Rowan University, and an M.A. in Organizational Communication and Leadership from Marist College. She was also chosen to present at the 2006 International Communication Association Conference in Dresden, Germany.
