This system was purchased in 1989 and is equipped with a hydrogen-carbon switchable, variable-temperature probe. This magnet is sometimes referred to as the R2D2 unit. The VNMR software runs on a Sparc 10 Sun workstation which was added to the NMR system in January, 2000.
