Text:  Nagle, Saff, & Snider, Fundamentals of Differential Equations, ISBN: 0-321-42854-4, Pearson/Addison Wesley, 6/E

Calculator:  Must purchase a TI-89 Graphing Calculator.

Attendance:  You are expected to attend all classes. If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to make up missed lecture material on your own.

Homework:  I will try to post the homework assignment each day on y home page. Consult this when you miss a class.  When the department web master is out for the day, I cannot post the homework.

Tests – There will be 3 unit tests. The average of these will determine your grade. Make-ups will only be given when medical documentation is provided for the absence.

Content – the course will include techniques for solving first and higher order differential equations (both homogeneous and non-homogeneous), approximation techniques, LaPlace transformations and related topics.
