Selected Topics in Mathematics
(Math 01.523) – 6 S.H.
Students will be expected to select two course offerings from different
areas of mathematics (e.g., Geometry; Data Analysis & Discrete Math)
This course provides students with the opportunity to explore current
issues in mathematics. The course will have a changing focus that will
permit faculty to offer specialized seminars focused on new developments
in the field, issues of significance, areas of faculty research, or in
response to students’ requests. Students may take this course for
credit more than once (limit: 9 sh), as long as the focus of the course
is different each time the student enrolls.
