"Fly Me to the Moons!" at Edelman Planetarium

The Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University will present a live one-hour jazz concert under the stars at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. A quartet of Rowan musicians including Denis DiBlasio, Dean Witten, Dean Schneider, and Doug Mapp will play favorites such as "When Stars Fell on Alabama," "East of the Sun," and "Look to the Sky." Planetarium director Keith Johnson will accompany them visually with a wide variety of dramatic and colorful imagery using the power of the SciDome immersive digital projection system. In this concert, when the artists play "Fly Me to the Moon"… we'll actually go there!

The admission fees for this experimental program will be the same as for our regular public shows: adult $5, children 12 and under $3, seniors over 60 $3, and Rowan students with ID $3. Tickets go on sale at the door at 6:30 p.m. We do not offer advance sales, and cannot take credit cards. The planetarium is located on the ground floor of Science Hall on the main Rowan campus.
