Dr. Eli B. Silverman visits Rowan to discuss police crime reporting

Dr. Eli B. Silverman, Professor Emeritus, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Graduate Center, City University of New York, visited Rowan to launch the second annual Rowan University College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series on Wednesday, October 13 from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m in the Eynon Ballroom, Student Center.  Dr. Silverman lectured on the extent of pressures to which police managers believe they are exposed using Compstat as well as how those pressures influence unethical crime reporting. The lecture was well-attended by students and faculty.
