New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis One-Day Summer Conference

Rowan's Center for Behavior Analysis is co-sponsoring a one-day conference of the New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis to be held in the Eynon Ballroom, Chamberlain Student Center on July 15, 2011. NJABA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of the discipline of behavior analysis and is an affiliate chapter of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). The conference is geared toward teachers/educators, parents, trainers, direct service providers, administrators, and consultants who are interested in learning about the principles and applications of behavior analysis for a wide range of learners. Different workshop tracks are provided to allow attendees to focus on specific areas of interest related to behavior analysis.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Pat Friman, the current Director of the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. His address is entitled "Boys Town: Walden III for Troubled Out of Home Teenagers." Dr. Friman will also provide a workshop in the afternoon, "Behavioral Pediatrics: Behavioral Approaches to Behavior Problems that Present in Primary Care Settings First."
