Featured Faculty: Tony Robb
Dr. Anthony J. Robb, Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Rowan University and associate professor of Spanish, has released his book, Eunice Odio y su sensual mundo poético (Edwin Mellen Press). Dr. Robb teaches Spanish grammar, composition and civilization courses as well as major courses in Latin American literature. His interests focus on contemporary Spanish American literature, Central American poetry and 19th-21st century peninsular Spanish literature. In addition to having already published three books, he has written and published several book chapters and many journal articles on Spanish Realism, Caribbean and Central American poetry, and Latin American literature in general. Dr. Robb is also an active participant in international literature conferences, having presented various papers on Spanish and Spanish American literatures in Europe, South America and Central America. In addition to his duties as chair, Dr. Robb currently serves as the academic advisement coordinator for the Department and is the liaison for the College of Education and the Dual-Degree Spanish and Education programs.
