English major, Chanelle Wilson, wins Fulbright scholarship
English Major Chanelle Wilson has won an extremely competitive Fulbright scholarship to study in South Africa. Chanelle's experience studying abroad at the University of Cape Town in South Africa was truly memorable, and she looks forward to re-visiting the area in 2011 as a Fulbright Scholar. Chanelle anticipates graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2010 with a dual major in English and K-12 Subject Matter Education, along with an African American Studies concentration, endorsement in Reading Education, and Honors Studies concentration. Chanelle is a member of Kappa Delta Pi; Educational Honors Society, and Phi Beta Delta; International Honors Society. Chanelle has been a proud soprano of Rowan University's New Life Ministry Gospel Choir since her freshman semester, as well a dedicated member of several other clubs and organizations.
