Let it Show, Let it Show, Let it Show

Performances of "Season of Light," the traditional holiday show, will begin Saturday, Nov. 30th at 7:00 p.m. at Edelman Planetarium. Shows will be given on Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. through Dec. 15th

Narrated by Noah Adams, with music by Mark Petersen of Loch Ness Productions, this star show portrays the customs and celebrations that humans have devised through the ages to light up the darkest time of the year. Stories of Christmas, Hannukah, New Year's, Santa Claus, and the Star of Bethlehem will be told through the magic of the immersive imagery of the SciDome full-dome projection system. And you've never seen such an active version of "The 12 Days of Christmas"!

This is generally the most popular show of the year, so come early! A free bonus for early arrival: we'll be showing a colorful full-dome music extravaganza called "Let It Snow!" while visitors are entering the theater, starting about half an hour before show time. This entertaining movie, produced by the Clark Planetarium of Salt Lake City. includes several of the familiar secular holiday songs brought to life with exciting computer animations.

More information is available at The planetarium and its programming are made possible by means of the generous support of Jean and Ric Edelman.
