College of Education - John J. Schaub Instructional Technology Center

Instructional Materials Center

The Schaub Instructional Materials Center, in room 1140 on the first floor of Herman D. James Hall, serves the faculty, staff, and students of Rowan University’s College of Education. The facility houses a wide range of sample teaching materials, including teacher’s editions of K-12 textbooks, teaching kits, children's books, manipulatives, and posters. The professional collections include books, journals, DVDs, and other media. The William Culbertson School Psychology Collection, containing examples of tests and equipment used by school psychologists, is housed in the Schaub IMC. For specific holdings, please consult the IMC's online catalog.

The specialized collections support and augment the College of Education’s various professional education courses. The Instructional Materials Center offers laminating and binding services to members of the College of Education, as well as Ellison presses and assorted Ellison die cut shapes, letters, and numbers. A photocopier is available to the public and accepts either coins or Boro Bucks.
