About Joseph J. Pizzillo, Jr., Ph.D.
Dr. Joseph J. Pizzillo, Jr. received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in Educational Policy and School Law, a M.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in Comparative Education and International Studies, and Rural Education, a M.A. from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Latin – American Studies, a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and Guidance, and his B.A. from the State University of New York, Albany in Foreign Language Education (k – 12 Teaching Certificate in Spanish) and Social Studies Education (k – 12 Teaching Certification). His research interests include educational policy and school law. He currently teaches History of American Education, Characteristics of Knowledge Acquisition, and Educational Policy/School Law during the three phases of the NJ Provisional Teacher Education Program. He is the History of American Education course facilitator.
