About Nancy DeJarnette, Ed.D.

Nancy K. DeJarnette obtained her B.S. and M.S. in Elementary Education. She also received her Ed.D. in Teaching & Learning and her Ed.S. in Instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  Her research interests include bringing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to the elementary and middle school classroom as well as providing professional development for in-service K-8 teachers in the areas of STEM.  Dr. DeJarnette has several instructional responsibilities including supervising clinical practice candidates in the elementary school, teaching Curriculum & Assessment in elementary classrooms and Teaching in Learning Communities II.  She currently serves on a committee for the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE).  Dr. DeJarnette serves as the program coordinator for the Master of Science in Teaching (MST) Program.
