About Carmen Antoinette Jordan-Cox, Ph.D.
Dr. Carmen Jordan-Cox is an Associate Professor in the Educational Services and Leadership department. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Indiana University, M.Ed., in Counselor Education and Student Personnel Administration from Pennsylvania State University, and Ph.D. in Organization and Administration of Higher Education from Boston College. Her research interests include higher education governance and administration, and student affairs administration. Dr. Jordan-Cox teaches Applied Ethics in Educational Leadership, Changing Organizations, Higher Education Governance, Leadership Theory, Policy Environment, Professional Learning Communities, and Student Development and Adult Learning Theory. In addition to teaching at Rowan, Dr. Jordan-Cox is on the Board of Directors for Connections Generations, Inc., is a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for The Family Court of Delaware, serves on the Executive Counsel for Delaware Conflict Resolution Network, and serves on the Higher Education Strategic Information and Governance Policy Council at the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy.
