About Terri Allen, Ph.D.
Dr. Allen joined the Rowan University faculty in 2010 after 25 years of service as a school psychologist in public education and research hospital settings. She earned her MS in School Psychology at the University of Rhode Island and a Ph.D in School, Clinical and Community Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Allen currently teaches graduate level Cognitive and Psychoeducational Assessment courses as well as serving as a thesis advisor for MA School Psychology students. Research interests include social justice and advocacy, early childhood initiatives in addressing the school to prison pipeline, linking assessment to intervention, and harassment, intimidation and bullying. She serves on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists and is actively involved in public policy and advocacy efforts at state and national levels.
