About John Quinesso, M.A.T.
Mr. John Quinesso received his Master in the Art of Teaching (MAT) degree from Marygrove College and his B.A. from Rider University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. He has a long history of work and service in the field of education including 33 years of elementary teaching experience. Mr. Quinesso currently teaches undergraduate teacher preparation courses including Clinical Practice Seminar, Teaching Students of Linguistic and Cultural Diversity, and supervises Clinical Practice candidates. He also teaches and serves as the facilitator of the Teaching in Learning Communities I course, which is required of all majors and minors in the College of Education. In addition to serving on numerous department, college, and university committees, he serves as the faculty adviser to the Rowan University Student Chapter of the ASCD. He has also served as Area Director and National Collegiate Programs adviser with the People to People Student Ambassador Program – having traveled to more than 60 countries on all seven continents.
