Computer Labs and Specialized Learning Spaces
Rooms 2108 (Library Tech Lab), 2110 (Mac Lab), and 2113 (PC Lab) can be reserved through the College of Education Technology Office by completing the online request form:

In addition, Room 1141, the Open Computer lab is on the 1st floor. It is for general student use. This room is not available for reservation.
Below are the policies and procedures Faculty, Staff, and Adjuncts must use to request a computer lab or specialized learning space in Education Hall.
- Anyone using a room listed above will need a current Rowan ID. The College of Education has installed a new keyless card swipe system and your Rowan ID will be your means into the lab.
- Phone and in person requests for rooms(s) will not be processed.
- Request are processed on a first come first serve basis.
- Room(s) are to be reserved on specific dates.
- Reoccurring room(s) requests should be made by those who plan to fully utilize the facilities on the dates requested.
- Room reservations should be made using the online form. If you have an issue accessing this form please email edhallsupport@rowan.edu.
- Room reservations need to be made no later than the Thursday, 4:00pm the week before the reservation dates. This allows sufficient time for processing and reservation postings.
- Requests made by students will not be fulfilled. If an organization wishes to use the facilities, the advisor must make the request and be present during the event for supervision.
- Rooms 2093, 2108, 2110, and 2113 are for instructional use only. These are not open computer labs for general use. Any student present in the labs must be accompanied and/or supervised by a faculty/staff/adjunct member of the University.
- Rooms are subject to closure without notice during non-use for maintenance.
- Student workers are in room 2111, barring illness, per the schedule below:
Mondays - Thursdays 7:30am to 7:30pm, Fridays 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Sometimes student workers might be away at the moment to assist other faculty. There is a dry erase board outside room 2111 that will indicate the approximate time they will return
Specialty Software:
- If there is a special piece of software you need installed for your program/class, the following procedures need to be followed:
- A copy of the software must be provided to the Dean's Office as well as license information, the specific classrooms/computers for software installation must also be identified.
- All software must be submitted a minimum four (4) weeks prior to the beginning of the semester for which it will be needed.
- If proper license documentation is not provided, the software will not be installed.
- If the department/program requires the software to be installed in a lab and the software license does not provide for the installation on all of the computers, then the software will not be installed.
