Novice Teacher Induction Seminars & Workshops
Seminars and workshops focus on the needs of Novice Teachers. (those in the first three years of teaching). Sessions include a presentation by veteran NJ educators and Professional Consultants, information packets and resource material, and a buffet meal.
*A reduced package rate is offered for the purchase of the six-session Induction Seminar Series.
Mentor Teacher Training Institute
Annual three day summer institute to train mentors of new teachers. Sessions include roles and responsibilities, NJ Mentor rules and regulations, observation skills, adult learning styles, feedback techniques, and roundtable discussion with administrators on the last day. Continental breakfast and lunch included each day. District teams and individual mentors are encouraged to attend. Administrators attend last day with district teachers free of charge.
