The Department of Educational Services, Administration and Higher Education offers graduate –level programs and/or certificates in school counseling, school psychology, school nursing, school principal, assistant superintendents, supervision, and higher education administration and instruction. We offer a variety of modalities in our course offerings including accelerated programs and distance learning, as well as traditional on-campus classes. All of our programs are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). In addition, the school psychology program is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), while the school counseling program is expecting accreditation by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) in July of 2011. The Department is housed in the College of Education in its new state of the art facility with computer laboratories and smart classrooms. The Department’s faculty is mindful of the multiple responsibilities juggled by graduate student. Thus, in accommodating adult learning needs, we seek to engage students academically, professionally and personally.
