There’s no better way to learn about Rowan Engineering than from Rowan engineers.
That’s where Brighid Burgin comes in. Brighid, 21, is a senior chemical engineering major and active, active, active. A member of the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Concentration, Brighid is president of the student chapter of Tau Beta Pi (National Engineering Honor Society), president of Rowan’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders, and treasurer of Rowan’s Society of Women Engineers.

This summer, she interned at Exxon Mobil in Paulsboro, and she plans to attend grad school, enter industry and eventually teach at the college level. Accepted pretty much everywhere (Rowan, Bucknell, Cornell, Lafayette, Lehigh, Rutgers and Villanova), Brighid selected Rowan because, as she says, “Rowan is a family, especially the College of Engineering.”.
