Opportunities identified within the open discussion at the meeting:

Take advantage of good locations

Pick 30 and up with grant resources incentivize to adopt/create model wind ordinances meeting certain standards that support wind

Building integrated approaches

Existing sites can share real time production data they choose

Cooperatives or partnerships with public interest groups and environmental groups

New developments can be convinced to use renewables (new energy master plan (stakeholder input)

2007 Clean energy Budget

Comprehensive resource assessment

Reach out to architechs who are looking for LEED certification

Legislatively/Administratevly open up SREC to small wind

Small wind municipal goals (near and long term)

Leverage “Secure Cimmunites” for wind/ hybrid systems

Focus on a near term project to impliment some of these ideas

Consider incorportating whenever a state permit is required for development

State gov't and local governemtn can set and example

Pa setting up turbines in state parks

Model county propgrams

USDA grants

High School Projects w/students to build wind turbines

Lessons learned from program
