Shreekanth Mandayam

Professor and Chair

Biography:

Dr. Mandayam's (Ph.D. 1996, Iowa State University) research interests include imaging, image processing and multi-sensor data fusion for nondestructive evaluation applications. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University (1994) and B.E. in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University (1990). He teaches courses in electrical communications systems, digital image processing, and artificial neural networks. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and serves as the Student Activities Chair for IEEE-Region 2 (Eastern United States) and the Chair of the Educational Committee for the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society. He is also a member of the American Society for Engineering Education.
