Current works include insects as the main focus. Drawing from a varied list of work experiences he is able to assist students/faculty in all aspects of studio work answering most questions relating to the technical side of three-dimensional work. James has been employed at the university for approximately ten years. His work has been exhibited on a national level. And also has also been recognized by the state of New Jersey and featured in an exhibition of New Jersey artist. James also spent ten years designing building and exhibiting studio art furniture. Recently invited to a national conference of the Entomological Society of America to speak about his work. The university setting has allowed Jim access to the sciences and the engineers to research material for his art.
