| In
support of the Fine Arts programs, the Westby Computer Art Labs
provide state-of the-art facilities and technology for developing
digital projects and experimenting in fine art, art education, graphic
design, photography, digital printing, web design, and multimedia.
The facility includes 6 computer labs
and classrooms, consisting of 65 color calibrated Macintosh workstations,
several flatbed and film scanners, Canon and Nikon digital cameras,
Panasonic and Sony digital video cameras, slide film recorders,
a production level Canon color laser printer and saddle-sticher,
three wide format inkjet printers, ethernet and wireless network,
and a wide variety of industry-standard software.
Located
on the second floor of Westby Hall, the labs are open throughout
the day and lab assistants are available to assist students and
faculty. We also offer a color printing service where students, faculy, staff, and on campus organizations can have their projects professionaly printed as a poster, booklet, or flier. 
In addition to supporting curriculum and providing
first level assistance to both faculty and students, we also support
technology integration through research and experimentation with
a variety of technologies, develop digital projects for faculty,
create online tutorials, and provide design and wide format printing services.

Backup Your
Work on Lab computers
Lab computers are not intended to store student files
for any period of time. When a computer needs repair or updates,
the hard drive may be erased and we will not be responsible for
lost data. Please utilize your Rowan network hard drives (H: drive),
CD/DVDs, flash and external hard drives, or other devices
for storage of your files.
The Print Lab
The Art departmet operates a color printing service, which includes the capabilty to print single, double-sided single
sheets, multi-page documents, or saddle-sticked books. We can also print wide format poster, banners, and signs up to 44 inches wide. Please note,
all print jobs must be submitted through our work flow system. To

24 hour turn around.

Graphic Design Applications, such as Adobe CS4
Web Design Applications: HTML, JavaScript,
PHP
Prefer some knowledge in the following: video equipment, digital cameras, scanners,
color laser and wide format printing, Instructional/Educational Technology, learning theories. Résumé,
