For most students this review takes place in the second semester of the sophomore year, or during your fourth semester. The BFA application process evaluates the potential for success in the BFA program. Students are expected to show skills and knowledge applied to artistic problems. The work should show uniqueness, resourcefulness and commitment, all in all the potential to function as a professional artist. Students are being observed through the first two years of studio work, prior to the BFA application; they should approach all course work with the attitude of the professional artist if they expect to be successful in the BFA application.
