About the Gallery The Rowan University Art Gallery serves the Rowan community and surrounding region as a center for visual arts culture and education. Focusing on contemporary art from the region, nation and global community, the gallery is committed to showcasing all forms of visual expression and new media. Gallery Hours
The gallery is closed during University winter break (mid-December to mid- January), University Spring Break and in the summer months of June, July and August. The Gallery is also closed on NJ state holidays. Admission Tel. 856-256-4521 Opportunities The gallery will review group exhibition proposals from artists' collectives and groups, art organizations and institutions, and organized traveling exhibitions. To submit your request please send a brief description of the exhibition concept and images of the work to be included. Please send materials on a CD. The Curators' Showcase Program is currently reviewing proposals for the 2010/2011 exhibition season. Exhibitions will focus on the theme of The Body. Proposals that explore this theme are due February 1, 2010. Other themes are welcome and are reviewed on an on-going basis.
