BRAVI to our wonderful students in Rowan Prep's "Musical Journey" Class that occurred during the week of July 11 - 15, 2011. With our magical coordinators, Wendy Hill and Amanda Hill, accompanied by our creative and caring teen counselors, Taylor Roman, Mia Marrazza, Christine Devine, and Erin Bownes, the students were able to take a Musical Journey through the arts - dance, painting/artwork, movement, and special "instrument sampler" classes - all through the works of Peter and the Wolf & Carnival of the Animals. Special thanks also goes out to our Instrument Sampler teachers: Tom Meany, flute/Suzuki flute, Lizzie Devereux, Suzuki/traditional violin, and Gina Marrazza, piano.

Please click here for the video of the students performing "tinco layo" at our closing "share-in" on Friday, July 15.

Brava! Bravo! Bravi! to all of our wonderful performers at Rowan Prep's second annual Student Recital that occured on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. We applauded 26 performers as they shared their music selections with a crowd of proud parents, family, and friends. Our Rowan Prep family has grown so very much -- we got to hear Suzuki and traditional violinists, percussionists - including snare drum performers, marimbists and a tympanist!; our first String Ensemble (Young Artists Chamber Music Ensemble), vocalists, and pianists. It was a eclectic and exciting presentation of our students...and we are all so proud of our Rowan Prep family! We're growing -- together -- musically!
