THE SATURDAY MORNING ART PROGRAM (smART)

SmART is committed to bringing quality artistic learning experiences to children. Our goal is to engage children in learning about the visual arts by fostering sensory and perceptual development, individual expression, and building creative problem-solving skills using a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art media.

SmART mutually serves both Rowan future art teachers and the children from the university community; we learn together - how to create as artists, how to instruct as teachers.

SmART offers a community service that fulfills Rowan University’s dedication to community outreach and quality programming.
