An integral component of the curriculum of the Department of Theatre & Dance, the production program provides Rowan students a lab experience in theatre and dance performance, technical production, and design. In conjunction with Campus Players and Dance Extensions, four main stage productions, directed by faculty or guest artists, are mounted for the public annually in Tohill Theatre, a 535-seat proscenium theatre located in Bunce Hall. In addition to the main stage season, the department also showcases performances by theatre and dance courses and by student performance groups, such as Lab Theatre. Each year, the completely student-produced Lab Theatre mounts three to four productions in the department's Studio Theatre, a 75-seat black box theatre. |
