Karen Haynes

Karen meets the needs of students, advisors, faculty and alumni of Rowan University by assisting them through the graduate application process. She is responsible for the processing of applications, informing students of the decision by the Admissions Committee, matriculation of students into their program, etc.

Karen has been with Rowan University for the past 39 years; the last 11 years with The Graduate School.  She has worked in academic departments throughout the years, always in the higher education field.

Karen is a member of The National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals and a past member of The National Academic Advising Association whereby constantly striving to stay abreast with recent technological advances and improvement in graduate admissions.
 
Karen has a B.A. in Sociology from Glassboro State College and a M.A. in Student Personnel Services from Rowan University.
