The Health Professions Committee

The members of the Rowan University Health Professions Committee are:

Chairperson:

Dr. Catherine Dayton (Biological Sciences)

Members:

Dr. Gregory Hecht (Biological Sciences)
Dr. Sam Lofland (Physics)
Dr. Greg Caputo (Chemistry)
Dr. Monica Greco (Psychology)

Rowan graduates have traditionally enjoyed greater then 90% acceptance rates into at least one health profession school, a record which few other colleges can claim.  This is in large part because the Health Professions Committee has developed a long track record with health care institutions.  Committee members help students through the application process by providing timelines, conducting mock interviews and writing letters of recommendations. Students need to be aware that professional schools will look for a Health Professions Committee letter from all applicants from Rowan students; applications from Rowan without such a letter are viewed as highly unusual.
