Biology Club

The Biology Club organizes a number of different educational and social events every year.  The Club is also engaged in numerous activities which include research-oriented field trips to the Department's Environmental Field Station in Cape May.  Other field trips have included the Mutter Medical Museum in Philadelphia and Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

Volunteering at Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer in Jackson, NJ. Meeting place: Rowan University Parking lot A. Meeting time: 7:00am. Members participating must register online at www.komencsnj.org. Depending on interest, we could also go to Six Flags Great Adventure.

Students who participated in research this summer will be presenting their research and results.  Presentations topics include "Structural analysis of Pseudo Rabies Virus and bacteriophage phi1026b capsids using three-dimensional reconstructions from cryo-electron microscopy", "Temperature sensitive phenotypic plasticity in Arabidopsis thaliana", and much more!
