Student Organizations

Students in the Biological Sciences Department are invited to join the Biology Club and/or the Health Professions Club. These clubs provide a valuable opportunity to meet other students, learn more about career opportunities, hear from visiting speakers and have fun!

Biology Club
The Biology Club organizes a number of different educational and social events every year.  The Club is also engaged in numerous activities which include research-oriented field trips to the Department's Environmental Field Station in Cape May.  Other field trips have included the Mutter Medical Museum in Philadelphia and Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

Health Professions Society
The members of the Health Professions Club invite speakers who have expertise in health or other professional fields, in preparing for application to medical, dental or other professional schools, and in visiting places of interest.
