The Speaker:
Mookkan (Peri) Periyasamy received his MBA (Finance and Marketing), MS in Organic Chemistry and PhD in Polymer Chemistry. Peri has worked as a Research Associate at DuPont for 16 years. Over his career, he has received many accomplished awards for Technical, Manufacturing and Marketing accomplishments within DuPont. The most significant being the DuPont Corporate Marketing Excellence Award and  the  Director of Manufacturing award.

Peri  is very  active in  community service within and outside of DuPont. Since 1995, Peri has been the President of the DuPont Asian Network that consists of about 900 members today.  DuPont honored Peri in 2003 by awarding him the "DuPont Jade Award" for his work supporting diversity.  Outside of DuPont, the Delaware Governor appointed Peri as the commissioner for the "Delaware Human Relations Commission" as well as the  "Delaware Entertainment Commission".  Both organizations promote the well being of underprivileged people.

The Talk: In my presentation, I will try to cover the various Fuel Cell technologies
including Hydrogen Reformate Fuel Cell and Direct Methanol Fuel Cell.
Further I will cover the technological advantages and disadvantages/issues
of each type of fuel cell. The talk will also include the myths about Fuel
Cells, and the market forecast and timing for commercialization of
different fuel cells.

The October meeting will be held at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford.

From North Jersey, Philly, take I295 to exit 26, take Highway 42/Atlantic City Expressway south towards Atlantic City, and exit onto Highway 55. Take the first exit. Go left at the light and proceed to Clements-Bridge Road. Turn right. The restaurant is on the left side of the road and will require you to do a U-turn.

From Atlantic City, take the AC Express way to the Route 322 exit. Go through Rowan campus to route 55. Take Route 55 north to the Deptford Mall exit. Use directions above.

From Rowan, use Route 55 to go to the Deptford Mall, exit and then use the directions above.
