It is our great pleasure to inform you that Rowan University has been selected as the winner of the 2008 FLC Northeast Regional Industry/Non-Federal Government/University Award. This award recognizes an American-owned company, a non-federal government entity, or university within the region that has made outstanding efforts to promote either the transfer of federal technology transfer during the previous year. Rowan University’s partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration was a successful one as its students were exposed to real-world projects in software engineering, and the FAA was able to receive quality professional software products and research expertise. Rowan University will be recognized at an awards presentation on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the FLC Northeast Regional Meeting in Brookhaven, New York.
