Spanish Placement Exam

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures requires potential Spanish Majors to take a Spanish Placement Exam in order to begin the program at the appropriate level. Potential Spanish Minors are also strongly encouraged to take the Spanish Placement Exam. Students may obtain prerequisite waivers for courses based on their Spanish language proficiency as determined by the Spanish Placement Exam.
