Nadine Connell, Ph.D. Assistant Professor
Biography: Nadine M. Connell received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park. Her research focuses on criminal justice program and policy evaluation. She is currently involved in a randomized evaluation of after-school programs funded by the Institute of Educational Sciences. She has also worked with a local police department on an evaluation of local community policing initiatives, the MD Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration on the evaluation of DWI assessment procedures in Maryland, and with the Capital Jury Project on as examination of group dynamics inherent in jury decision-making. Dr. Connell�s research interests include statistics, capital punishment, social networks, and juvenile delinquency.
