CONGRATULATIONS! And WELCOME ABOARD:
Dr. Lawrence P. Markowitz, the newest Assistant Faculty member in the Political Science Department.
Dr. Markowitz received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005, a M.A. in International Affairs from The American University in Washington DC in 1998, and a B.A. in History from SUNY-Oneonta in 1992. He is the author of numerous articles on state failure and political development in the Former Soviet Union. Before coming to Rowan he taught at Oberlin College and was a Post-doctoral Fellow at Georgetown University.

Political Science Honor Society
Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society, will be taking applications in February and March in the Political Science Department, located in Robinson Hall, 3rd floor.
Requirements are: a 3.0 GPA in at least ten hours of political science courses, a 3.0 GPA overall average, and a $30 one-time membership fee (fee must be paid by TBA). REMEMBER! You do not have to be a PS major to join.
